Commission requires additional environmental documentation from four applications

NJ JACKSON — Environmental Commission conditions four development applications on wildlife surveys and environmental documentation. At its April 13 meeting, the commission scheduled two applications for April 20 Planning Board review and two for May 4, contingent on applicants submitting complete storm water management reports and threatened and endangered species surveys conducted during peak seasons. Commission member Adam Haidi emphasized that properties in the Conservation Zone Overlay require a Letter of Interpretation from the Department of Environmental Protection under Ordinance 244-45.
The commission also extended its review of the Adventure Crossing development, Phases 3 and 4, pending an additional wildlife survey, and discussed a proposed 10-acre land donation on West Commodore Boulevard with preliminary environmental contamination concerns flagged by Mayor Jennifer Kuhn.
