Jackson Zoning Board approves wrestling facility variance

Zoning Board · Meeting of February 18, 2026

NJ JACKSON — Jackson Zoning Board approves wrestling facility with conditions. The Township Zoning Board of Adjustment unanimously approved three applications at its February 18 meeting with six members present. The Board granted a use variance for Elite Wrestling LLC to operate a wrestling training facility on Toms River Road, serving grades 1-12 with maximum 25-30 participants per night, conditioned on adding bathrooms and prohibiting outdoor equipment storage.

Owner Stephen Rivera plans to expand operations from three days to five days per week. The Board also approved a fence variance for the Stollman property and granted three consecutive one-year extensions for a retail development site plan delayed by municipal sewer capacity constraints.
